Volunteer with CHAP!

Without the support of our amazing and dedicated volunteers, we couldn’t reach as many children and families as we do! Whether you are labeling envelopes, helping with an event, or assembling care packages for children in area hospitals, all of our volunteer jobs impact the children and families we serve. You must be at least 11 years old and fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to volunteer at Children’s Healing Art Project (and you’ll need to bring an adult until you turn 13).

Please read our Volunteer Handbook for a better understanding of the full scope of volunteer opportunities!

Studio hours are Tuesday - Thursday, from 10am-5pm, with the exception of other scheduled events.

The Volunteer Application Process:

Please fill out the online application that best describes you. A background check is required for US citizens over the age of 18 years old. Minors and non-US citizens are required to provide a letter of reference. You can submit this on the online application. Word or PDF format preferred.

CHAP Internships

Children’s Healing Arts Project provides unique opportunities to meet your internship requirements. Summer and Fall intern projects range from coordinating our outreach efforts and assisting in the development of new programs, to enhancing our social media presence and preparing materials for fundraisers. You’ll have a personalized experience as you learn about the nonprofit field from behind the scenes!
