Scarlett was born and raised by the beach in San Diego, California. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts in Anthropology from UCLA in 2014 where she was a manager at UCLA Radio and co-hosted her own radio show. Scarlett discovered her love of spreading the joy of healing art experiences after volunteering at a group home in Los Angeles leading art projects with young women. After a stint farming in New York state, she landed in Portland and has enjoyed exploring all that Oregon has to offer, especially food wise. She is currently a student at PSU completing post-bac coursework and hopes to obtain her Masters in School Counseling. Working with children is her passion and she splits her time between working at CHAP and working with elementary school students. Her favorite thing about working for CHAP is having the opportunity to brighten the days of children and their families through creativity. In her free time you can find her at the beach, cooking, thrifting and making art.
