Bringing people together to make a difference in the lives of others is Barb’s passion. Through her nonprofit experience at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in the San Francisco Bay Area, Store to Door in Portland, and Project ABLE in Salem/McMinnville, Barb has realized this passion for more than 15 years. Now, as CHAP’s Executive Director, she feels truly honored to work every day with incredible volunteers, staff, families, and community members who share that passion for making a difference. Their dedication to the mission, love of art, endless creativity, and desire to make every child’s healing experience better and brighter is endlessly inspiring.

Originally from Upstate New York, Barb has finally found her place in Portland. She loves living close to Oregon’s beaches, Forest Park, the mountains, the rivers, and everything Portland has to offer. She is an avid traveller and adventurer, but always finds her way back to beautiful Oregon.
